Parent Guidelines & Protocol

Supervised / Monitored Exchange Protocol :

  Parents and/or designee must avoid each other completely.


The Custodial parent:

Will arrive fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of the scheduled exchange and return exactly at the end of the scheduled exchange. Custodial parent and/or designee will be required to leave the area immediately upon the exchange of child(ren).

The Non-custodial parent:

Will arrive at the exact hour of the scheduled exchange and will leave fifteen minutes prior to the end of the scheduled exchange.  

Supervised Visitation Protocol :

•   The visiting parent MUST arrive promptly at the scheduled time of the visit.

•   The monitor will be present at all times during the visit.The monitor will document interactions taking place between parent and child during the visitation.

•   The monitor is mandated by the Court to "redirect" a parent should they violate a visitation guideline (see California Rules of Court 5.20 tab for more details)

•   The monitor will not relay messages between non-custodial and custodial parents, except when communication is regarding the arrangements of visitations.

•It is forbidden to make derogatory or abusive comments about any other Parent, the immediate or extended family members, the child, or the child’s caretaker.

•    Use of alcohol, non-prescribed drugs, cigarettes or cell phone calls during visits are prohibited.


Note:

Family members and friends authorized by the Court to participate in the visitation that do not comply with the monitors guidelines and rules will result in the cancellation of the supervised visitation.

Fees & Cancellation applies to all services:

Fees due prior to each visit. No refunds.

Cancellation MUST be communicated 24-hours prior to the visitation to avoid a cancellation fee.
